Ms. Hackfeld's art classes at AC Blunt Middle School start the year off with a collaborative project. This year, they looked at the work of artist Chuck Close. Each class created a banner with a different image and color scheme in his style. Students were responsible for coloring their individual squares, which were pieced back together to make the banner. #NationalArtsInEducationWeek #WeAreAP #APexcellence

In your golden years? We want to hear your cheers! Reminder, APISD provides a Golden Panther Card to any Aransas Pass resident who is age 65 or older. The Golden Panther Card will admit the cardholder to all home athletic events FREE! Cards are available at the APISD Administrative Offices located at 748 West Goodnight Avenue and may be picked up with a photo ID. #WeAreAP

In the book "Alma and the Worry Stone", Alma uses her worry stone to tame the worry dragons that come with the first day back to school.
