New month, new meeting schedule!
Beginning the October 12, 2026 Regular Meeting of the APISD Board of Trustees, regular board meetings will now begin at 6:00 PM on the 2nd Monday of each month.

Aransas Pass ISD administration is actively monitoring the forecast for potentially inclement weather on the evening of Thursday, October 1st through the morning of Friday, October 2nd due to the possibility of localized heavy rain.
The safety of our students and staff is always our top priority. As of now, all district schedules remain unchanged. In the event that travel conditions on Friday morning are anticipated to be unsafe, we will provide additional updates regarding the school schedule via email, phone call, text message, District social media accounts, and local news media.

The Kieberger campus conducted an EVACUATE drill today, September 18. All our students and staff did a great job, way to go Panthers!
During the EVACUATE drill, students and staff exit the building to a location. An EVACUATE drill is very similar to a fire drill.
Drills are for staff and students, and are educational opportunities to practice life safety skills. We encourage you to talk with your child about today’s EVACUATE drill.
What is the EVACUATE Action?
The EVACUATE Action is called when there is a need to move people from one location to another for safety reasons. EVACUATE may be on-site, or offsite, and may be resolved quickly, result in early-dismissal, or require organized reunification of students and parents/guardians at another location. During EVACUATE, all students and staff move in an orderly fashion to a safe area.
Examples of EVACUATE Conditions
The following are some examples of when a school or emergency dispatch might call for an EVACUATE Action:
Power outage
Fire
Gas leak
Bomb threat
Event at the school that results in the school being deemed a crime scene

💜💛 Learning was happening everywhere at CMES today!
From a Math PLC with our teachers, campus administrators, and ESC-2 specialist, to 5th grade kicking off small-group instruction, it was a great day of learning and collaboration!
📚 Students were using text evidence to support their answers on their unit test, and even Mr. Bennett jumped in to help a 5th grader work through a math problem!
Great things are happening at CMES—one student, one lesson, and one day at a time! 🐾💜💛

Aransas Pass High School has been awarded a $100,000 Education Grant from the Port of Corpus Christi to support the development and launch of our new Process Technology Dual-Enrollment Program in partnership with Del Mar College!
We are incredibly grateful to the Port of Corpus Christi for investing in educational opportunities that prepare our students for high-demand careers in our region. More to come as we celebrate this partnership!

Today, the Faulk Elementary team joined Principal Mrs. Banks for a deep dive into student data, working together to create vertical alignment across grade levels. Through collaboration and data-driven planning, they are building a strong foundation for student success

This week, our Curriculum & Instruction Department successfully completed Modules 1–4 of the Preparing and Retaining Educators Program (PREP) Mentorship Program. Through this training, our team is preparing to serve as mentors for our new teachers, providing guidance, encouragement, and instructional support throughout the school year.
