✨🛡️ 3rd Grade Spotlight! 🛡️✨
Our 3rd graders had an amazing time today diving into the Norse gods during their Amplify Viking Age unit! Students used a fun twist on Headbandz—guessing characters based on their mythology traits and characteristics.
It was incredible to see them thinking critically, collaborating, and bringing history to life through interactive learning. 🧠⚡️
Way to go, 3rd grade! Keep exploring, questioning, and discovering! 🚀📚#GrowGreatness

With the time change and darker evenings, we’re reminding everyone to stay alert when traveling to and from school.
Bikers: Use a white front light and red rear reflector or light.
Walkers: Use crosswalks, stay visible, and avoid distractions.
Bus riders: Wait safely away from the road and cross only when signaled.
Drivers: Watch for students walking, biking, or waiting at bus stops.

Let’s work together to make sure every Panther gets to school and home safely!

Our district instructional coaches hosted their monthly "Prowling Towards Excellence" training with our amazing new staff today!
This month’s focus was Domain 3 of T-TESS, diving into how purposeful planning drives student success. Coaches and teachers modeled "small-group brainstorming" for each dimension, giving our new educators hands-on practice and collaborative strategies to take back to their classrooms.
We are so proud of the dedication and growth mindset our new team members continue to show. Together, we’re "growing greatness" in APISD! #GrowGreatness

When learning turns into an experience… magic happens! ✨
3rd graders stepped into ancient Rome during their Amplify lesson this week.
Proud of our Panthers and their curiosity! 🐾🏛️ 💜💛 #GrowGreatness

Once a property owner receives an over-65/disability homestead exemption, there is a tax ceiling on their school taxes, meaning the amount paid in school taxes on that home cannot increase as long as they own and live in that home, unless they make additions that would increase the value of the home. Learn more at www.apisd.org/page/vatre.
