Aransas Pass ISD Superintendent Dr. Glenn Barnes has announced the hiring of Elizabeth Ward to serve as Principal at HT Faulk Elementary School. Ward is being appointed after serving as Principal at AC Blunt Middle School.
Ward has 21 years of experience in the field of education and joined Panther Nation in 2021, serving as Assistant Principal at AC Blunt Middle School. Ward’s approach to campus leadership is guided by her strong background in special education and elementary education, with a focus in primary literacy. She prioritizes the importance of quality literacy instruction and early intervention.
Ward previously served as a Literacy Coach and Educational Diagnostician at Beeville ISD, and taught students at Gregory-Portland ISD as a Second Grade ELAR Teacher, and at Ingleside ISD as a Kindergarten and Fourth Grade Teacher. She earned a Master of Science in Special Education and a Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi.
Ward is a Coastal Bend native. During her free time, Ward enjoys reading, walking her dog, and spending time outdoors with family.
