Panthers and Employees of the Month

The Aransas Pass ISD Board of Trustees recognized the Panthers and Employees of the Month at their February 9th Regular Board Meeting.

February 2026 Panthers of the Month

Kynzie Perez is a 2nd grade student at Faulk Elementary. Kynzie always has a smile on her face and is willing to help others and teachers. She patiently helps other students to learn to read the 2nd-grade decodable. Also, she recognizes when other students are frustrated and tries to encourage them. She completes all assignments to the best of her ability. Kynzie reflects the qualities of a PAX leader by promoting peace, productivity, and happiness. Congratulations, Kynzie Perez!


student receiving an awardAubrey Villegas is a 5th grader at Charlie Marshall Elementary. Aubrey is an outstanding student who is always ready to learn and give her best. She is kind, respectful and thoughtful of both her peers and adults and she consistently shows a positive attitude. Aubrey truly represents the best of our school community.


Ezekiel Soliz is a 7th grade student at A.C. Blunt. Ezekiel is a student who truly embodies the heart of AC Blunt Middle School. He is respectful, courteous, and can be counted on to treat others with kindness. A hard worker in the classroom and a dedicated athlete on the field, he shows what it means to strive for excellence in every area of life. Thank you for being a shining example of integrity, effort, and Panther pride!


student receiving an awardJuan Granados is a Junior at Aransas Pass High School and is an amazing student who is always ready to help. He takes charge of difficult situations and has a forward-thinking attitude. Juan is a member of the Aransas Pass High School National Honor Society, The Panther Prowl Yearbook staff, and a founding member of the APHS Panther Perspective Podcast. Juan is also a member of the Student Council, The APHS Spanish Club, and serves as the Vice President of The APHS chapter of Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Great attitude, great work ethic, and impeccable character are why Juan Granados is Aransas Pass High School’s February Panther of the Month.

She always puts students first and genuinely loves and supports the children she serves. She works well with others, contributes to a strong team environment, and approaches each day with professionalism. Mrs. Waldron is dependable, arrives on time, and is always ready to take on any challenge with a great attitude. Her dedication and commitment make her truly an asset to the Faulk school community. With no hesitation, he jumped right in and had already made a strong impact on our campus. His initiative, energy, and willingness to go above and beyond have truly impressed us. We are excited to welcome Mr. Hill to our campus and proud to recognize him as our Employee of the Month.

Ashley Monyelle is a fairly new addition to the staff at Aransas Pass High School where she serves as an inclusion para. Ashley has a great attitude and has been a wonderful fit for our staff. She always has a smile on her face and loves helping students when they are in need. Her coworkers describe her as “one in a million” and she is always willing to lend a helping hand. Her hard work, dedication, and high standards are why Ashley Monyelle is Aransas Pass High School’s February Employee of the month.

During her 13 years of outstanding service to APISD, Adri has demonstrated hard work & exceptional dedication, advancing from purchasing and payroll into her current role as Chief Financial Officer. Making a mid-year transition into such a critical position is no small task, but Adri has enthusiastically embraced the challenge with absolute professionalism. We have full confidence that her commitment and leadership will ensure our district continues to operate efficiently in support of our students and staff.
