Registration
Registration at Aransas Pass ISD for the 2022-2023 school year may be completed online at our district's Parent Portal website (Chrome is the preferred browser for Parent Portal). Registration must be completed to be assigned to a teacher or a class schedule for new and returning students.

Required Enrollment Documents
Students must be enrolled by a parent or legal guardian. The following items are required and can be securely uploaded during the registration process:
- Original or Certified Birth Certificate
- Proof of Residency in Aransas Pass ISD
- A current gas, water, or electric bill (phone and cable bills NOT accepted) OR
- A recent property tax statement OR
- A rental/lease agreement
- Original Validated On-Schedule Immunization Record
- Parent/Legal Guardian Photo ID - if not living with parent listed on the birth certificate, court documentation must be provided
- Student's Social Security Card
- Most Recent Report Card or Withdrawal Form from Previous School District or Name and Phone Number of Previous School
- High School Transcript (if applicable)

*State law requires that in order to enroll, students must reach the stated age on or before September 1 of the current year.
TEA Pre-Kindergarten Requirements:
Students must be 4 years of age on or before September 1 of the current year and must meet one of the following requirements:
- Be unable to speak and comprehend the English language; students will be given a language proficiency test at the time of registration OR
- Be educationally disadvantaged, which means a student is eligible to participate in the national free or reduced-price lunch program - SNAP or TANF card, Medicaid EDGE number, or income verification will be required OR
- Be the child of an active duty member of the armed forces of the United States, including the state military forces or a reserve component of the armed forces, who is ordered to active duty by proper authority - military ID will be required OR
- Be the child of a member of the armed forces of the United States, including the state military forces or a reserve component of the armed forces, who was injured or killed while serving on active duty - documentation will be required OR
- Be in, or have been in, the conservatorship of the Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) following an adversary hearing as provided by Section 262.201, Family Code - copy of Form 2085 or court documents showing previous or current foster care will be required OR
- Be the child of a person eligible for the Star of Texas Award as a peace officer, firefighter, or emergency medical first responder.
