Aransas Pass ISD Interim Superintendent Wayne Bennett has announced the appointment of Adrianna Moreno as the District’s new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Moreno is being appointed following 12 years of dedicated service in the District’s Business Office.

Moreno earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Kaplan University and began her career as an administrative assistant with H-E-B before serving as an accountant with American Bank Center. She joined Panther Nation in 2013 as the District’s Accounts Payable and Purchasing Specialist and has served as the Payroll Specialist since 2021.

“Mrs. Moreno’s long-standing commitment to our district, her experience in accounting, and knowledge of school finance make her an ideal fit for this role,” said Interim Superintendent Wayne Bennett. “We are proud to promote one of our own who has consistently demonstrated professionalism, accuracy, and dedication to the financial integrity of Aransas Pass ISD.”

Moreno will oversee the District’s financial operations, including budgeting, accounting, and compliance, while continuing to advance the district’s commitment to responsible stewardship of taxpayer funds.
