Serving Panther Nation Blaise Miller Communications Coordinator Aransas Pass ISD

Aransas Pass ISD Superintendent Dr. Glenn Barnes has announced the hiring of Blaise Miller to serve as the District’s Communications Coordinator. Miller is being appointed after serving as the Aransas Pass ISD Assistant to Executive Leadership.

Of the new position, Dr. Barnes states the importance of a comprehensive approach to communications in the evolving field of education, saying “Mrs. Miller brings the perfect combination to the Communications Coordinator position with her background in school business and her experience in marketing, social media, and school communications.  We are getting the best of both worlds”. 

Miller joined Panther Nation in 2012, serving as the Registrar at A.C. Blunt Middle School, and later the Receptionist at Aransas Pass High School. Miller earned her Associate of Arts in Business Administration from Del Mar College and her Bachelor of Business Administration in Management from West Texas A&M University. 

Miller has served as the Assistant to Executive Leadership since 2017, and began assisting with district communications beginning in 2018. Miller is proud to have contributed to the development and deployment of new communications channels including campus and district social media accounts and the district website and mobile application, and in the coordination of district and community events. 

Miller is passionate about shining the spotlight on the amazing work of our students, teachers, and school community. Miller strongly believes that parent and community involvement in education is a vital component of student success, and is excited to support increased opportunities for parents and guardians to engage in their child’s school and learning journey.

Miller and her husband are longtime residents of Aransas Pass, and their daughter is a proud Panther student. Outside of professional commitments, Miller enjoys traveling and making memories with family.
