Enrollment & Registration

New students to the District need to provide the following to begin the enrollment process: Proof of residence for a physical address (ex: current utility bill,) student's Birth Certificate, Social Security Card, Shot Record, and parent/guardian ID. Also previous School records and any special services paperwork will be very helpful, if not provided name, phone number, and address of previous School will be needed. If living with another family who resides in the district, parent first must fill out Host Form and have it validated.

Students who were previously enrolled but withdrew and are re-enrolling in APISD need to bring: Current proof of residence and previous school records.

 *Students who completed any grade level last school year (16-17) at any APISD Campus do not have to register for the new school year, only new to the District students or students who withdrew before the end of the 16-17 school year need to register. 

 

PRE-KINDER qualifications are:  

Student must be 4 years of age on September 1 of the current school year and must meet one of the following requirements:

 1.    be unable to speak and comprehend the English language; student will be given language proficiency test at time of registration or

2.    be educationally disadvantage (eligible to participate in the National School Lunch Program.  Please bring SNAP, TANF, OR EDGE card if applicable or income verification.

3.    be the child of an active duty member of the armed forces of the United States, including the state military forces or a reserved component of the armed forces, who is ordered to active duty by proper authority or be the child of a member of the armed forces of the United States, including the state military forces or a reserved component of the armed forces, who was injured or killed while serving on active duty.  Copy of Military ID will be required or DoD.

5.    have ever been in the conservatorship of the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services (DFPS) (foster care) following an adversary hearing.  Copy of form 2085 or Court Documents showing previous or current foster care must be provided. 

In order to register NEW TO THE DISTRICT students, the following items are required:  Original or Certified Birth Certificate, Original validated on-schedule immunization record, proof of address (utility bill or copy of lease,) photo ID for parent/guardian (if not living with parent listed on birth certificate must have court documentation showing name of guardian,) previous school records and/or name and phone number of previous school, and social security card of student.

Charlie Marshall Elementary – 4th & 5th grade

Blunt Middle School – 6th – 8th grade

Aransas Pass High School – 9th – 12th grade
