Aransas Pass ISD welcomes Justin Taylor as our new Athletic Director and Head Football Coach. Coach Taylor has been a teacher and coach for sixteen years. He began his career in Belton then moved to Bay City where he eventually became the offensive coordinator. Coach Taylor then took over the AD/Head Football duties at Christoval and held that position for the next four years before moving on to Van Vleck. Coach Taylor brings a “ONE FAMILY ONE DESTINY, COMMIT TO WIN” philosophy with him to Aransas Pass and said, “We inspire kids to achieve more than they ever dreamed possible through discipline, effort, and desire.” Coach Taylor and his wife plan on making the move to Aransas Pass very soon as he is anxious to get to know the student-athletes and implement the Spring off-season program.
“We feel very fortunate to welcome Justin Taylor as our new Athletic Director/ Head Football Coach. Coach Taylor comes to us highly recommended by everyone that has worked with him. Of all our applicants for the position, Coach Taylor emerged during the interview process as the best fit for Panther Nation. We are very excited to see what he will bring to the APISD Athletic Program.” -Cara Cooke, APISD Superintendent
